Technical Support

Before contacting us, please try these troubleshooting steps.

1

Insert Fresh Batteries

Make sure you have inserted brand new batteries into your remote control. Reusing old batteries will sometimes fail to properly power the remote.

2

Check Battery Direction

Ensure the batteries are facing the correct direction inside the compartment (+/- as labeled).

3

Reset the Remote

A remote reset may be necessary. Remove the batteries, hold any button for 30 seconds, then reinsert the batteries.

4

Test the TV Sensor

Use your phone camera to check if the remote is transmitting. Point the remote at the camera and press a button — you should see a light on screen. If not, the remote may be defective.

5

Sony Remote Battery Compartment

Sony remotes sometimes have a non-obvious battery compartment. Check that you are opening it correctly by referring to the diagram on the remote itself.

6

Download Your TV Owner's Manual

Many TV model manuals are available online. Search your TV model number followed by "Owner's Manual" to find it.

7

Brand-Specific Pairing Guides

Some smart remotes require pairing. Samsung Voice Remotes, LG Magic Remotes (AN-MR21GA, AN-MR20GA, AN-MR21GN, AN-MR22GA, AN-MR22GN), and Sony voice remotes have specific pairing steps. Search "[brand] remote pairing" for your model.

8

Charging Samsung Solar Remotes

Samsung solar remotes require a full charge before first use. Place under a bright light source for several hours.
